WOODBRIDGE ADDS TO RALPHH NUMBER IN EAST ANGLIA

RALPHH has made its latest presentation of defibrillation equipment to Deben Rowing Club, which sits on the bank of the River Deben at Woodbridge, Suffolk.

Established in 1990, the Club has 108 members participating in all sizes of boats. Its attractive clubhouse, containing a gym was completed in 2020 and the members complete across the Eastern region, including a strong Masters section that FEATURE those who have participated at the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham.

Chairman John Anderson says that the club would benefit by adding to its number of coaches, not least for its Junior section where there is a waiting list to join.

RALPHH has been very active over the last few months in helping both rowing and sailing clubs across East Anglia. Most recently this included the gift of a defibrillator to Huntingdon Rowing Club.

Pictures left to right on the slipway are: Jane Allen, from RALPHH; Joel Early, Welfare Officer of Deben Rowing Club; and John Anderson, Chairman of the Club.
